The truth about Don Quixote

The history of the valorous and wittie Knigh-Errant Don-Quixote of the Mancha Is this originally a  spanish novel written by Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra? Published in two volumes, the first in 1605 and the second in 1615. In between there appeared a spurious  Don Quixote volume in Spanish. Was this written by Alonso Fernández de Avellaneda? No.. the answers you can read in ‘the truth about Don Quixote’ with the subtitle ‘the fraud of Cervantes’.  ( Now only in Dutch, maybe in the future also in English?)

We reveal you that there are more things in heaven and earth, reader, than are dreamt of in your philosophy! Why this sentence? Because the writer who invented this statement in the so-called ‘Shakespeare plays’ is also the author of the real Don Quixote editions; as well as of the genuine as the false book!

Don Quixote is considered as one of the most influential works of literature. As a founding work of modern Western literature and one of the earliest canonical novels, it regularly appears high on lists of the greatest works of fiction ever published. It follows the adventures of a knight who reads so many chivalric romances that he loses his sanity and decides to set out to revive chivalry, undo wrongs and bring justice to the world, under the name of Don Quixote.

A story to amuse, a history to stimulate the reader in his study, but most of all an epic guide for them who can read between the lines: an esoteric quest.
